ABOUT US

The owners were driven by the dream of finding a special and unique place to live which began with a one-year trip to Central America in 2005. After having toured Southern California, Mexico, Guatemala , El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, we arrived at the end of the road . We encountered the incredible surroundings of Cambutal and its people, and we were thrilled. In 2007 we moved and in 2010 inaugurated the Hotel Kambutaleko, your special getaway. Now we invite you to share the beauty here and are pleased to offer the chance for you to enjoy a truly unspoiled experience. Here we live the tropical rhythm, within a short walk to the Pacific Ocean at the base of the mountains.

We offer comfortable accommodation in a unique setting overlooking the Pacific Ocean and close to tropical forests. Everything here revolves around the open scenic beauty. Our community offers endless beaches, some famous for surfing, and the ability to perform various activities such as sport fishing, guided tours of the park, Cerro Hoya, horseback tours to see turtles (June to December), snorkelling, horseback riding, and yoga. Local seasonal restaurants offer local fresh food. From the hostel with amazing views over the ocean you can see whales, many birds, howler and capucin monkeys.
